However well a roof has been looked after, it eventually reaches the end of its life. Tiles go porous, nails rust through, the felt underneath perishes and the repairs start to add up. At that point a re-roof is the sensible option, and it is one of the best things you can do for a house.
We strip the old covering, check and repair the timbers, fit new breathable membrane and battens, and re-cover in clay or concrete tile or natural slate to match the house and your budget. New lead at the chimneys and abutments, dry or mortar ridge and verge as you prefer, and new fascias and guttering if they need it.
We handle scaffolding and waste, keep the house watertight overnight and keep disruption to a minimum. A typical house takes one to two weeks depending on size and weather.
