Buying or selling a house means knowing what condition the roof is in, and a general survey often says little more than roof not inspected. A roof survey from us tells you what is actually up there.
We inspect the roof covering, ridges and verges, chimneys, lead work, gutters and, where there is access, the timbers and felt from inside the loft. You get a written report with photos, a clear list of any faults and what each would cost to put right, so you can negotiate or budget with real numbers.
Landlords and commercial owners use the same report for planned maintenance, and lenders accept it as evidence of condition.
If you go ahead with the purchase and ask us to do the repairs, we deduct the survey fee from the work.
Ring us to book a survey. We can usually turn the report round within a few days of the visit.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a roof survey cost?
It depends on the size and type of roof. Ring us with the address and we will give you a fixed price. If we then do the repairs, the survey fee comes off the bill.
What is in the report?
Photos of the roof, chimneys, lead and gutters, a list of any faults in plain English, and an estimate for putting each one right.
Do you survey commercial roofs?
Yes. We report on commercial and domestic roofs, including flat roofs, for owners, landlords and buyers.
